After the passing of his wife Kimberly, Josh found himself searching for a way to process the unimaginable. Out of a quiet conversation with a friend came the first poem, “I Closed Her Eyes.” What followed was a flood of words—raw, honest, and profoundly moving—that would become his first book, Beacons, Echoes, and Hues… a gift from a loss.
Josh writes in memory, in reverence, and with purpose. His poems explore fatherhood, mourning, healing, and hope with vulnerability and strength. Each verse is a reflection of real moments lived, of love not lost but carried forward.
